The Vancouver Island Chapter is launching Vancouver Island's first ever Project Management mentorship program.
What is the Project Management Mentorship Program?
Project management mentorship is a volunteer-based engagement, that last for several months, between someone who has project management experience and knowledge and is willing to share it (the mentor), with someone that is interested in learning more about one, or more, aspects of project management (the protégé)
This program is sponsored by the PMI Vancouver Island Chapter and is available to anyone who is a PMI Vancouver Island Chapter member in good standing. There are no additional fees required to partake in the program.

Upcoming Mentorship Events
We just had our first touchpoint session for the current mentorship members. This informal get together took place at the Bard and Banker and gave everyone an opportunity to get together and discuss their experiences to date. We also took the opportunity to gauge the mentorship pairings and gather any lessons learned to apply as we go forward. The feedback was very positive and the mentorship team is now looking forward towards the next intake.
Although the current intake is underway, now is a great time to submit your application for the next intake in September 2010. Remember first come, first served and we likely will not have room in all program for all interested applicants so the sooner you get your application in, the better your chances.
How to get started
The mentorship team will contact you as to next steps from there on out.
