A New Era in Project Management
Simply put, project management is the discipline of planning, organizing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of a specific project.
Project management itself, however, is anything but simple. It’s an incredible balance of asking the right questions before a project even goes ahead, engaging all stakeholders in a carefully laid out plan, diligent adherence to budgets and timelines, and thorough follow-up and project evaluation upon completion. And, in today’s economic downturn, project management is a critical piece of almost any private or public sector undertaking.

PMI Vancouver Island Chapter's Project of the Year Awards
PMI Vancouver Island Chapter would like to recognize, honor and publicize the successful completion of projects on Vancouver Island whose team members have demonstrated superior performance in the application of project management principles and techniques. Two projects will be awarded Project of the Year, one from the private sector and one from the public sector.
